The bright gold dichroic glass in this plate shades to green/gold in certain lighting. The plate measures 10inches by 12 inches with a 5 inch by 7 inch indententation. The top dichroic edge has etches in Hebrew "lechvod Shabbatt ve Yom Tov" ( in honor of Shabbat and Yom Tov). The bottom dichroic border has etched in Hebrew Hamotzi Lechem Min Ha'aretz (He who takes out bread from the earth).A dramatic piece of functional art.
